Devised and developed by FASTLab Founder Professor Paul Egglestone, RAPID was  established to foster collaboration between academics, industry partners, and communities. It aims to create projects delivering tangible outcomes to real-world challenges. It empowers teams to apply their problem-solving skills to assist partners in finding innovative solutions.

FAST

Your business will Partner with researchers from several disciplines alongside any external partners you wish to include (e.g., government agencies, communities, businesses, or NGOs) to develop innovative solutions to localized, real-world problems in research ‘sprints’ lasting 3-6 months.

This shorter timeframe ensures solutions are industry-relevant and fit-for-purpose.
